About the image:
I took this image towards the end of my trip to New Zealand. We were hiking in a region called mount Sunday, on the South Island. It was the end of the day and we were going back to the car as the sun went down. I turned around for a moment and then I saw in the far distance this amazing light piercing through the clouds. I immediately knew it's going to be a great image, long before I put my eye in the viewfinder. This image shows how lighting is essential in creating a great photograph.
